Pre-1989
In India, Kingfisher is thriving with over 50% market share
1989
Having gained a loyal following as an imported world lager, Kingfisher Beer Europe is founded to brew it in the UK using the same revered recipe.
2016
2016 marks our first foray into innovation as we introduce our Asian-inspired cider, Peacock.
2018
With the introduction of Bombay Bicycle IPA, Sagres, Krušovice, and Ichnusa, we now boast a wide portfolio to delight and intrigue consumers.
2021
We continue to grow by adding Sapporo and Yeastie Boys to the portfolio.
2022
Our flagship brand Kingfisher Beer undergoes a refresh, and we introduce 5 Walla and Makai to our range of drinks.
2023
Having grown beyond “Beer” and “Europe”, Kingfisher Beer Europe becomes Kingfisher Drinks. We also launch the eagerly anticipated Kingfisher Zero.
2024
Peacock is given a modern makeover to appeal beyond Asian dining occasions.
